1.0 - INTRODUCTION - ABOUT OUR COMPANY
Spectrum Paint Worx Ltd has been set up to help offer a tailor-made service to customers who wish to have their Classic & American Vehicles, Bikes, Kit Cars, Hot Rods and Performance Cars personalized or repaired and require Body Repairs, Panel Modifications and Paintwork to the highest quality. Winter rebuilds, Accident & Insurance repairs, Restoration or Individual projects can all be catered for. Please find listed below some of the areas that we specialise in:- Paint work is our Speciality, whether it's conventional car colours or something a little more Custom, such as Kandies, Pearls, Graphics, Flip Colours. These Repair and Paint methods are carried out by skilled people who have a love for creating one off pieces of work and an understanding about these special pigments. The aim of Spectrum Paint Worx Ltd is to provide a high level of vehicle refinish, either by returning vehicles back to OE specifications or advising customers who require a more personal and specialist finish. Qualified personnel, skilled in Panel Modification, Repair and Paintwork, who are fully conversant with the repair market and substrates that are being used. This is backed up with over 45 years combined bodyshop experience, gaining NVQ III and IV, whilst also becoming Member of the Institute of the Motor Industry. My background was working for a Global Paint Company in a National Technical Training and Colouristic role, working closely with Vehicle Manufactures and bodyshops in the UK and Germany. Carrying out Training on vehicle repairs and Paintwork to meet vehicle Warranty standards and Compliancy laws, whilst working to help streamline bodyshop processes. My Colour Matching ability and understanding of different pigments allows me to produce individual colours for customers together with helping to match Kit Car Gel coats or older, hard to find colours needed for Restoration projects, whilst being supported by approx 200,000 standard colours from the Paint Manufacture. Spectrum Paint Worx uses Waterborne Basecoats with Compliant Primers and Clearcoats for the majority of work. House of Kolor and other Specialist Custom Paint Companies can also be used if requested, all carried out within a Spraybooth to achieve the correct levels of finish and durability. We can offer our services to customers how wish to carry out the Body Repairs & Restoration themselves but need a reputable company to complete the paintwork stages..
