Project Information
We were asked by the customer to undertake a bare metal repaint &
colour change coupled with renewing the Quarter panels, inner
Tubs & Rear Panel along with wanting to fit an RS front end with new
Wings, Bonnet, Valance panels & Nose cone.
We matched the base colour required & agreed on the stripework layout
that we masked on the Bonnet to help with visual appearance.
Once stripped of all panels, masked & cleaned thoroughly we applied
metal etch followed by Surfacer. Whilst in the Booth we painted the
A Posts & Satin Black to the Dash.
Bonnet, Boot & Door inner panel faces were painted prior to fitment
on
vehicle ready for final prep, mask & paint.
Bonnet, Boot, Rear Spoiler & Screen Trim were sanded & masked for
stripework & clearcoat.
A final flat & polish before handing vehicle back to
customer.
