Project Information
This particular customer had been recommended to us after crashing
his Jaguar. He asked us to undertake the repair work to include a
New Quarter Panel, Boot Floor & repairs to the Arden Body Kit.
We were also asked to carry out a colour change to White from the
existing Black metallic.
To liven up the White we suggested applying a special Xirallic pigment
over the White base before Clearcoat. This would allow a visual colour
change & create a one of a kind paint job.
A sprayout was produced & once agreed we set about the repairs &
paintwork. Arden Bumpers & side skirts were repaired in Fibreglass,
Quarter & Boot Floor replaced, all other repairs carried out &
vehicle
primed.
Internal panels painted first & re-fitted to the vehicle followed by
Mirror
Covers, Bonnet Louvers & Door Handles. Exterior of Jaguar was sanded,
masked & White base applied. 3 coats of Xirallic was then applied prior
to Clearcoat.
Bumpers, trim panels & an alternate soft top roof were fitted before
a final
polish & handing back to the customer
