Project Information
We were asked to repair & paint this customers car for him to use
as a promotional & competing vehicle for the Drift car series.
Colour scheme & layout were agreed, with House of Kolor Planet Green
Pearl for lower tones, Graphite pin line & Black for the top panels.
Screens were removed due to poor existing paint work, all panel repairs
were dealt with including welding up side repeaters & repairs to second
hand wings & side skirts before priming in either White or Black.
Boot Floor, Side Skirts, Rear Bumper & Rear of interior was painted
in
Planet Green, insides of Doors, underside of Bonnet, Boot Lid & Front
panel was painted in Black.
Exterior of vehicle was sanded & HOK Planet Green applied, masked &
Graphite pin line added, followed by the Black base & Clearcoat. All

colours continue into the Door shuts & hinge areas.
Once the Nissan was polished we set about fitting the Front Bumper that
had arrived, although sourced by the customer from a so called reputable
supplier we soon found that the fit & structure were far from good.
We started by cutting out 2 inches in width & laminating back together,
coupled with more fibreglass on other internal areas. Once we were happy
with fitment the Bumper was primer, sanded & base colours applied.
After fitting the bumper, a final polish was carried out & decals applied
before handing the Nissan back to a happy customer.
