Project Information
The customer of this Rolls Royce had been advised to use us due to our
Colouristic expertise in matching unknown or hard to find colours.
His Rolls Royce had sustained O/S door damaged leaving a crease running
down the height of the door and wing edge.
To compound the problems further we found that the previous Red Pearl
paintwork was not in a standard Rolls Royce colour coupled with no
record or code being kept.
Our starting point was to formulate a colour to be used, for colour
accuracy we finished with a three stage colour. Base colour of Red,
followed by several intermediate coats containing Pearl and finally
Clearcoat.
Once this had been established we could start the repair and priming
process. After the repairs were complete, primer was applied, baked
and allowed to cure thoroughly before both the door and wing were
prepared for colour and painted using the correct application process.
All areas were polished and vehicle handed back to a very satisfied
customer.
