Project Information

We were approached by the owner initially to complete the Body
Repair & Paintwork on his Jaguar that had been started by another
company. Unfortunately once on site we found that work had been
carried out incorrectly with body filler covering rust holes & many
areas needing more metal fabrication work than originally discussed.
New work requirements were agreed & the original colour located &
matched before proceeding.

Our first job was to get the Jaguar media blasted & Zinc coated. This
allowed us to see the extent of work & new panels needed. We
replaced the inner Rear Wheel Arches, Floor & Jacking Points, all
Radiator & Front Chassis Panels, and O/S Wing. All other panels
had the rust areas cut out & replaced with new metal.

Once repairs had been completed we sprayed Epoxy Primer to the
entire vehicle including underneath & inside. This was left for several
days to fully cure before sanding, brush sealer was applied to welded
joint areas, followed by stonechip on underneath. The rest of the
Jaguar was sprayed in Opalescent Silver Grey & Clearcoat.

After polishing we set about fitting the Chrome work, Lights & Electrics
etc before handing back to the customer to complete.
