Project Information
We were asked by customer to undertake a body off chassis restoration.
The vehicle had previously had metalwork completed & coated in red
oxide prior to delivery.
Bracing was put in place before body was removed from chassis, all
body panels were coated in Epoxy before sealer was applied, the underside
then had stone guard & sprayed in customers colour choice.
Repairs were carried out to body panels & a second coating of primer
applied, engine bay & interior was then painted before being placed
back
onto chassis.
All panel gaps were corrected including fitment of door & bonnet locks,
chassis to body was shimmed correctly before a final preparation prior
to
colour.
Once painted the exterior panels were wet flatted, satin black & white
pin line added & a coat of clear applied before polishing & handing
back
to customer for him to complete the build.
