Once repairs were underway on this 1976 Pontiac Trans Am we soon realised that due to the original paint having poor adhesion, that a bare metal restoration was needed. All affected areas were sanded, body filler work carried out & ICI metal etch & Max Meyer high build primer was applied.
Once cured we sanded panels & sprayed the car in Silver base & Max Meyer clearcoat. The bonnet was wet flatted with P1200 grade & the phoenix graphic mask was applied & painted in with Black, Grey & Red base colours de-masked & followed by further coats of clear.
A final compound & polish using Scholl Concepts products before handing back to customer. This 76 Trans Am has won its owner trophies & has been viewed at many national shows.
