Having recently completed a custom Trike for "Harrison Billet", the owner of this Harley Davidson who works there, asked us to undertake the paintwork on his latest Harley Davidson custom project.
Working from initial drawings & discussions we started by shaping the fuel tank, guards & oil tank, these were then painted in House of Kolor epoxy primer. Once fully cured, we laid out initial graphics for visual reference & discussed colour options, getting the customers agreement prior to carrying out the custom paint work.
We started with House of Kolor, Silver base followed by SG100 this was then followed with White for the pin line & Black base colour with House of Kolor clear coat to finish. Bike panels, once fully cured were then wet flatted with P1200 & more clearcoat applied to further enhance the depth & visual appearance.
A final wet flat to remove an slight orange peel & surface imperfections before handed back to customer for fitting up. Great to see this beautifully engineered Harley gathering trophies at major bike shows in the UK & featuring in Back Street Heroes magazine recently
